At the heart of the system is the database where all information is held. Some of this information
is created by the users on a daily basis (e.g. customer names and addresses), and some of this
information is classed as reference data (e.g. Cottage information). When an agency takes on the use
of the eBooksys service certain amounts of reference data will be loaded into the database.
Over time however the agency will need to manage some of this reference data as new cottages
are added and removed and rates are changed. All relevant information can be maintained by the agency
user.
